Each plan includes a set number of unique comparisons per calendar month.
A comparison is counted the first time a specific pair of products is compared. If the same two products are compared again, the result is served from cache and does not count against your monthly limit.
This means popular product pairs are effectively "used up" once, and all future views of that pair are free.
The following also count as or trigger new unique comparisons:
Cached comparisons load instantly and do not use your monthly limit. Caches are automatically refreshed if the content of either product changes (description, pricing, variants, or any included metafield values).
Cache retention by plan:
| Plan | Cache Duration |
|---|---|
| Free | Resets at the start of each calendar month |
| Growth | Permanent (until product content changes) |
| Pro | Permanent (until product content changes) |
⚠️ Caches are reset if you uninstall the app. After reinstalling, comparisons that were previously cached will regenerate the next time a shopper compares them, counting against your monthly usage limit. To avoid unnecessary cache resets and increased unique comparisons, it is recommended to not uninstall the app unless absolutely necessary.
Once your monthly limit is reached, comparisons will not generate until the next calendar month.
